The number one goal at Madam Chino is to provide quality textile recycling.  These handmade baby quilts are created using the scraps of woven textiles used in our locally sold one of a kind shirts and skirts.  The interior batting is also a recycled vintage textiles!The "crazy quilt" is the best way to recycle these small of scraps, which are freestyle pieced using a high quality serger for the best wear.  We use commercial quality binding machine stitched on the front and hand stitched on the back using a blanket stitch.  The quilting is done using a machine stitched bar tac approximately one foot apart.
